The purpose of this study is to estimate the peaks in roughness profile which touched by fingers. The roughness profiles determined by conventional filters(ISO 4287, ISO 13565-1) involve artificial peaks near local deep valleys like vessels that cannot be touched by fingers. On the other hand, the roughness profile determined by novel filters did not have such peaks.
