Simulation of Drying Process of Hollowed Log

-Prediction of Distribution of Temperature and Drying Stress-

The thermal conduction and the thermal stress of hollowed log were analyzed using FE-Method and the distribution of temperature and stress during the hot-air drying are simulated. Anisotoropy of the coefficient of thermal conductivity and contraction and also the drying condition and the rate of hollow are discussed.
